Resolved Question: A question for stay at home Mom's... How do you make a little extra money to afford to stay home?
I just had a baby and I can't even imagine going back to work and leaving him with a daycare provider. I am one of those Mom's who doesn't think anyone else can take care of my baby the way he should be. I have about 5 weeks until I have to be back to work and I am dreading that day. So, I am trying to brainstorm some ways that I can stay home with him. ANY IDEAS? I would need to make about $200 a week or more if possible. One thing I thought of was taking on another child to babysit. I was thinking maybe like a 2 or 3 year old would be good, but I don't know how to find someone in my area that is looking for a babysitter. I have had several people suggest making a sign, but I don't know what I would write on that sign. I also sell PartyLite on the side, and could probably boost that business a little if I promoted it some more. As well as my online business at Jeneane.etsy.com where I sell homemade craft items like scrapbooks, cards, and more. Right now my shop is not doing so well because I was on bed rest and having pregnancy issues. Any suggestions for my shop, or finding a child to watch, or anything other suggestions you may have will be greatly appreciated! moreResolved Question: A question for stay at home Mom's... I know this is the wrong section but we women and you ladies have never steered me wrong with advice about my son. I dont have enough room at my place to invite everyone I know to come. Is it tacky to bring them the book to look at and see if they want to order anything? I feel bad not inviting them, I mean they aren't like close friends or anything. I see them about 2 or 3 times a week because they work at the bowling alley where my boyfriend is on a league and they know me very well. ( they grew up with my mom) I'm just a little lost and not sure if it would look bad for me to ask them if they want to order anything. moreVoting Question: 3 wick candle repair? ?
I just got a new 3 wick Partylite candle yesterday and started burning it in a 3 wick candle bowl. When I went to blow it out I noticed that it had split on the side almost 1/2 inch long. All of the wax had leaked through the split into the bottom of the bowl. Now if I relight the candle the wax is going to continue to spill out and the candle will be gone in like 3 hours when it should last like 240 hours. What can I do to repair this? I bought the candle on Ebay and not from a consultant. I know that Partylite candles are not suppose to do this. I know its a Partylite candle b/c it has the emblem on it and the label on the bottom. Any suggestions? moreResolved Question: Partylite Stand?
I have a stand that holds 10 votives/tealights. I currently have it in my fireplace and am looking for another one, but I have no idea what it's called. It has three rows of glass cups. The front and back row have 3, the middle row has 4. It's approximately 10 inches tall (not measured, just a guess), and I believe it was retired about a year and a half to two years ago. If anyone could help with the name or tell me where I can find one, I'd greatly appreciate it! moreResolved Question: My mother and I are hosting a partylite party what are some games we can play with adult women?

I recently posted a ? about Avon. But I want to know about all of them! I've got to get some extra cash flow, so I'm researching. Right now I'm considering anything EXCEPT for companies that sell sex products. I'm a single mom of a 4 year old & I don't feel its approriate to have those products in my home. You guys know how 4 year olds can be... INTO EVERYTHING! I work full time, go to school 9 credit hours per semester, & I'm a single parent. So I think this may be better for me than say getting a 2nd conventional part time job. 1) Have you ever sold: Avon, Mary Kay, Partylite, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, or a company not listed here? 2) How long did you stay w/the company? If you are still w/them, for how long? 3) How much did or do you make an average? What's the profit percentage? 4) How hard was it? How much time did/do you have to invest? 5) What's the start up cost? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but like I said, I'm researching. Thank you in advance! moreResolved Question: What do you think about selling products for companies as an independent contractor?

I have a Partylite 3 wick candle (#3054 on the label) at home and would like another. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the scent. Can anyone help me identify which scent is 3054? moreResolved Question: Are partylite candles worth the money?
So a friend just had a partylite candle party and there wasn't much selection but I did take a book home to decide whether to order something. I just wondered if the candles are any good. Does the scent last? Am I better just buying the Yankee candles? I just don't want to waste money ordering something first off just by seeing it in a book and then waiting 2-3 weeks for it and then to end up being a waste cause the candles are no better than ones bought at a store. moreResolved Question: Does anyone know of any home based business I can start. I've tried unsuccessfully Herbalife, Partylite,...
Quickstar, with no success. I'm new to the area and know very few people so selling is not a good idea unless it's over the internet. Any suggestions appreciated. Newly seperated with 3 small children so I must do something while my son is in school half day. Thank you. moreTop Partylite 3 Links
